Nursery for a Private Residence

For a private residence, a room within an 105-year old house was completely gutted and renovated to serve as a new nursery.  Originally the room had a large closet, faulty electrical wiring, no ceiling fans or lighting, and the house did not have a linen closet.

The implemented designed reduced the closet size in order to provide a linen closet from the main corridor, electrical was upgraded, new energy-efficient lighting and a ceiling fan was installed, and new finishes were applied.

In addition to providing the design, work studios performed all labor on the project.

Local award-winning artist Sylvia Masek was commissioning to provide a mural for the nursery.[website]
